PSYCHO & PLASTIC

Rising ambient duo Psycho & Plastic will be releasing their latest single, ‘Back And Forth’ on the 20th of May via GiveUsYourGold. The single follows the recent release of ‘Imago’, both of which will appear on the duo’s upcoming LP Phantom Bliss. The pair have already earned over 4 million plays across platforms with support from Faze Magazine, Electronic Groove, Data Transmission, The Clubmap, Getintothis, and BBC Radio 6’s Andrew Weatherall to name a few. Psycho & Plastic is comprised of Alexandre Decoupigny and Thomas Tichai who have been creating music together over 10 years. The two are from Southern Germany, have both lived in Liverpool where they met and are now based in Berlin. Over the years, the duo have released three albums together as well as two EPs as they draw upon the works of Mouse on Mars, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Robot Koch, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for inspiration. Their own sound calls to mind the likes of Brian Eno, Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm.

Dana Shanti

Berlin-based singer/songwriter, Dana Shanti, is a product of a bygone era wherein her country quaked in the shadow of the Berlin Wall. It was behind this wall that she was taught early to create that which she couldn’t otherwise obtain. This lesson spurred her to try her hand at music composition via a variety of instruments, pre-production of her own work, choreography, and both filming and film editing.

Karsk

KARSK is an instrumental trio from Berlin that was formed in late 2018. They play heavy rock music and also exploring other textures to add to the mix. Their music has many facets and is driven by intensity, emotions and heavy attitude which could be best experienced at the gigs.
