Kuadra is an Italian dark rap band from Vigevano. Since their formation in 2006, they have released four studio albums and toured extensively all across Italy and Europe. Their shows are characterized, both visually and sonically, by overwhelming seismic performances. Their lyrics speak of the disorientation caused by the society of control and hyper-digitalisation, of a sense of rejection of surveillance capitalism, of hatred and utopia. They are laser blasphemies aimed at eye level. In June 2023, they signed a contract with the Stockholm-based label Icons Creating Evil Art. The title of their new six-track EP is DISCODURO, a distortion of ‘disco d’oro’ (‘gold disc’) which is also the literal translation of ‘hard-disk’, a symbol of memory in this digital age.

Kicker Dibs sind ein deutschsprachiges Indie Rock Trio aus Berlin und am 15. September 2023 erscheint ihr neues Album “Die Pointe”. Schön krawallig und manchmal auch wunderbar melancholisch. Diese, aber auch ganz neue Facetten werden nun auf dem zweiten Longplayer der Band zu hören sein. Die Kicker Dibs releasen erstmals auf dem Label Wanderlust Entertainment. “Die Pointe” heißt das Album und davon gibt es in der Tat einige. Diese Platte hat Humor und Tiefe, sie ist doll aber auch zart zugleich und sie schafft ein großes Kunststück: Politische Haltung zu zeigen, ohne Zeigefinger und ohne dabei die Leichtigkeit einzubüßen. “Die Pointe” fährt auch in Sachen Features amtlich auf: Einhornrock-Queen Eva Sauter von Ok.Danke.Tschüss ist auf dem Song “Happy” zu Gast, Sebastian Madsen, Frontmann der legendären Indie Rock Band Madsen, veredelt “So ́n Gefühl” und Zauberstimme Dery ist auf “Irgendwo” zu hören.

Eine Rock-Combo trifft auf ein Streichquartett und beide beschließen gemeinsam in die Welt zu ziehen, um bewaffnet mit folkigen Dance-Pop-Beats und progressiv-psychedelischen Ausbrüchen ihrem Publikum den Atem zu rauben. Die ausdrucksstarke Stimme ihrer Sängerin thematisiert Utopie, Widerstand und diverse Lebenssituationen in allen Höhen und Tiefen. Immer wieder wird diese Stimme von treibende Rockriffs und sinfonischen Melodieläufen umarmt. Das ist Totally Stressed ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste von Raum- und Zeitgefühl ihrer Zuhörer*innenschaft.

Mors Cordis is different!

The band is an integral part of the Berlin metal scene for over 20 years and are not afraid of cross-genre experimentation.

Built on a mighty metal base with electronic, industrial and hip hop influences the band deals with a range of elements, which reflect in the lyrics too. The vocals move smoothly from growling and shouting to singing and rapping and add to the strength and complexity of music. The lyrics are both personal and critical (in English and German) and deal with sensitive issues of society. It is through these elements that Mors Cordis define their own style. It can be categorized as Alternative Metal.

Mors Cordis was founded in 1998. The current album “Ectopia Cordis” was released in 2020.

PlaGu, bürgerlich Gustav Edelmann (geboren 1995 in Bobingen), ist ein Multiinstrumentalist und Produzent, der sich durch seine einzigartige Mischung aus Pop, Indie und Elektro auszeichnet. Bereits mit 10 Jahren begann er, Musik zu machen, und verbrachte die meiste Zeit mit der Produktion eigener Songs und Beats. Nach seinem Umzug nach Berlin 2018 startete er seine Karriere als Straßenmusiker und begeistert sein Publikum mit seiner Loopstation. Mit Hilfe von Gitarre, Percussion-Instrumenten, Drumpads und Gesang simuliert PlaGu eine komplette Band. Seine 2023 veröffentlichte Single „Unperfekt” sticht hervor durch klassisches Songwriting gepaart mit ausgefeilten Produktionen und elektronischen Beats.
